Dear My Medical Vacations, We could not have done this without you! Your staff choreographed all the elements needed for our prep work, surgery, and recovery. Prep work, you took us to great doctors to check to make sure we were good to receive our surgery: X-rayed our lungs to make sure we were safe for the anesthesiologist and a cardiologist to check our heart. Both were very qualified and meticulous.
All this was worked out through your staff and carried out by your traveling nurse who was with us throughout the entire process. Each day we were met at our hotel and chauffeured to the office, clinic, or hospital depending on the needs of the day, and returned to our hotel following the tasks that were scheduled easy, friendly and efficient.
The surgery went smoothly with an expert surgeon, anesthesiologist and a hospital staff that were all great! After the operation, we spent the rest of the day resting in our hospital room until our surgeon cleared us to leave then our nurse took us back to our hotel. Everything was taken care of for us unlike surgeries in the US where they wheel you to the door.
Every day after the surgery our nurse would visit us to check and clean stitches and evaluate our recovery with daily pictures showing us our progress, yes we were spoiled! The entire process was very well organized and executed by friendly professionals that like what they do.
I am 70 years old and have not experienced this type of medical care in the U.S. ever!
