When we came to Cancun for my explant and mastopexy surgery with Dr. Valdez, I was very confident that the surgery would go well and the daily nursing visits would keep me on the road to recovery. What I did not expect was how truly AMAZING this whole process has been!
I chose Dr. Valdez on the recommendation of a previous patient and did a lot of research. The price was great, even with and Airbnb, airfare and food.
Betty had been incredibly helpful and responsive in all our communications and I’d had a WhatsApp video conference with Dr. Valdez. We were very comfortable with our decision to travel from NC for the procedure.
Since being here, we have had truly amazing care from everyone – the MMV staff and Dr. Valdez, the cardiologist who did the EKG, the wonderful staff at the small hospital where I had the surgery, the anesthesiologist and the other medical professionals we saw while here (unrelated to the surgery).
EVERYONE has been caring, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. We have been blown away every single day!
Not only are Ana and Betty (who apparently never sleeps) outstanding, they have become friends. Dr. Valdez spent a huge amount of time with me to learn all of my medical history – much more than anyone ever has.
The surgery went perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. One week post-op, I feel great! (I just wish we could stay longer!).
